My hands aren’t working right. Thank goodness for the iPad that fills in words for me. I’m using just the index finger of my right hand (I’m left-handed) to type a little bit and I haven’t been able to take any photos for a couple of weeks. So here it is/I am. On top of everything else I have a touch of flu – because I obviously don’t have enough problems. There are roses blooming on the moshav, and I do manage to go out for a wheelchair walk most days. I am going to Soroka hospital in Be’er Sheva on Monday for a pre-operative screening (nothing serious, elective surgery).
I went for a walk today with two dogs. Oldest son waa(is) here and his dog came along. A wonderful time was had by all. Oldest son’s dog (Samantha) really likes it here and misses us. She’s a Canani and very different for her living in an apartment in the city.
It’s Yom HaAtzma’ut and we are going to have lamb chops and hamburgers in a little bit. That’s about it: a small slice of life from the extremely crippled.
